WELCOME TO FESTIVAL SEASON
The months of May-August are a hotbed of festival outfit inspiration and look-books across Instagram and TikTok, and the U.K. have a whole host of cracking festivals to get kitted out for.
While Glastonbury might be done with for 2023, we'll still have Fred Again's set to watch back when the Glasto blues hit and a whole host of funky outfits at EQVVS that are festival ready for if you're not quite prepared to hang up the windbreaker and throw in the bucket hat.
And for those of you with festivals to still look forward too… we've put together a line-up of the best brands at EQVVS for your perusal.
EQVVS HQ Line Up
THE MAIN STAGE
Polo Ralph Lauren Shorts
BOSS Overshirts
Karhu Footwear
You'll be hard pressed to find a point in the summer where a pair of Polo Ralph Lauren Prepster Shorts won't work, our favourites… these corduroy ones.
Then, for layering purposes, an Overshirt will give a layer of protection from the inevitable mid-festival chill that sinking cans of warm beer simply won't cover.
We picked BOSS, because this classic cotton configuration is screaming ‘I look this good without trying’, which is exactly what you want at a festival.
We're thinking:
Latitude, Suffolk
Camp Bestival, Dorset
Boardmasters, Cornwall
THE DANCE TENT
Gramicci Cargo Pants
FADED Backprint
Merrell Footwear
Oakley Sunglasses
Here's a fit that's got 24 hour dance tent energy all over it. We're talking tech-inspired gear with nifty details to make sure you're fully covered for anything you might need.
Merrell and Gramicci are designed for the outdoors-y hiking geezer, but try tell us they don't make sense at a festival.
We're thinking:
Creamfields, Cheshire
Boomtown Fair, Hampshire
ACOUSTIC SESSIONS
Carhartt WIP Cargo Shorts
Carhartt WIP Shirt
Carhartt WIP Graphic Print
Carhartt WIP Baseball Cap
This outfit has that “crunchy” quality of a guy who'll definitely pull out an acoustic guitar around a campfire and start up the old chords to Wonderwall.
But meme's aside, this one has a low-key energy to it, the shaggy haired, book reading, tote bag tote-ing indie boy we all aspire to be at a festival. And Carhartt WIP have just the shirt for it.
We're thinking:
Standon Calling, Hertfordshire
THE PIT
Carhartt WIP Cargo Pants
PS Paul Smith Graphic Tee
Novesta Footwear
Carhartt wIP Baseball Cap
For the one that wants to be right in the middle of the pit, on vibrate waiting to go wild to the intro of song by a heavy metal band that you've been following for donkeys. (but not in an annoying way, don't be that guy).
All black with a graphic print tee will do the trick, plus a baseball cap, for good measure- extra points if you can keep it on when you're headbanging.
We're thinking:
Reading/Leeds Festival
