norda FAQ's
What conditions are norda shoes designed for?
norda footwear is built for the trail, whatever that looks like for you. Lightweight, breathable and exceptionally durable, each pair is engineered to perform across varied terrain and changing conditions. The 001 is your all-rounder. Together with the 001 G+® Spike, they form a considered system for tackling everything from everyday runs to more demanding environments.
Do norda shoes fit true to size?
norda shoes run slightly small, so we recommend sizing up for the best fit. For the 001 and 005, take half a size (US) up from your usual size. If you’re between sizes, it’s always best to size up for comfort on longer runs.
Are norda shoes waterproof?
They’re built to handle the elements. But are not fully waterproof. The Dyneema® upper is naturally hydrophobic, meaning it won’t absorb water and dries quickly. Due to its woven construction, it isn’t completely waterproof. The 001A G+®, 001 G+® Spike offer enhanced protection, with water resistance rated up to 10,000mm.
Are norda shoes suited to different running styles?
Yes. Each pair is designed with a neutral heel-to-toe drop, making them adaptable to a wide range of running styles and biomechanics without overcorrecting your natural gait.
How long should norda shoes last?
Longevity depends on how and where you use them. As a guide, most running shoes are replaced after around 700km (500 miles) or roughly a year of consistent use. norda pairs are built to go further, extensively tested in both lab and trail conditions. Many runners report exceeding 1,600km (1,000 miles) while maintaining performance, though wear will always vary depending on terrain and usage.
