Summer Trainers That Go With Everything

What trainers should you have in your rotation this summer
As British Summertime goes, it's not all sliders and flip-flops. Where one day can reach tropical highs of 25 degrees, the next 24 hours can take a proper soggy turn. The footwear fix? Waders and wellies... or some summer trainers, probably.
If you prefer to travel light or don't have IKEA Kallax storage in your gaff to showcase your trabs under LED strip lighting, we've pulled some good pairs that we reckon will see you through multiple summer outfits and occasions. So if there's one pair of trainers you need for the summer months, have it be one of these.
adidas Originals
When it comes to summer trainers, adidas Originals rolls off the tongue, a bit like "a pint of Estrella please, mate" does. And if your summer's likely to be spent predominantly in the beer garden, or thrashing pints together in celebration of the World Cup, then you'll need a good pair of trainers to mark the occasion.
Always been a mainstay for our wardrobe has adidas Originals, so here's a selection of this season's best. Flip through a catalog of Gazelles, Sambas, and Handball Spezials in some quite nice colours.
SALOMON
Noticed a recent interest in a load of your mates wanting to climb up a mountain on a brisk Sunday morning? All this instead of waiting for Deliveroo to deliver a stone-cold McDonald's Breakfast Wrap and a crisp full fat Coke as the elixir to a Saturday night spent in the pub? Us to.
You can always say no to the hike, but if you're feeling curious about the effects of walking to the top of a mountain to breathe air that doesn't have a faint aroma of a pub toilet, then it's worth having a spool through some SALOMON's.
These ones are all terrain, meaning they come with SALOMON's sense of form and performance to get you round the Peak District, but they're also just as adaptable to a hike through town to Cafe Nero.
New Balance
Much like the SALOMON's, New Balance trainers have a history rooted in performance, but this time it's running. Take them at face value, they're designed with all the cushioning and durability to move quite quick, and not turn an ankle, which is nice.
But actually, consider them a pretty versatile option. As sporty as they are good to look at, the 2002s and 1906s (which are the current top picks) have a right retro feel to them, a little bit of a 90's shape if you will, like the trainers your mum bought you for a family holiday when you were 10, only now they're trendy.
EQVVS Lookbook
Need visual proof that we have summer trainers that go with everything. Here's a lookbook of outfits, and lo and behold, they're all wearing trainers. Convenient.
