How does Dickies clothing fit?

Shopping online for the right size is no easy feat. One man's regular fit is another man's slim and since it's not always about the numbers in the label, it’s important to find the right silhouette that’s comfortable and fits exactly how you want it to.

With a collection of sought-after tees in a range of seasonal colourways and bold graphic, cargos for hard grafters and jackets the Dickies collection will have you covered across the board. Understanding the Dickies size guide is ideal to help find your perfect style. So we’ve broken it down for you in this handy fit guide.

To determine your size, start by measuring your neck, waist, chest, and hips. This’ll give you a rough idea of the size to look out for.

While all sizes are approximate, each garment is designed where the body measurement correlates to a general garment size.

How do Dickies T-Shirts Fit?

Souping up workwear-inspired fits for everyone, Dickies T-Shirts are perfect for a relaxed, everyday wear. For the most part, Dickies T-Shirts are crafted from a soft jersey and cut to a relaxed fit meaning you can order your usual size and they'll sit a little looser around the torso and hang looser from your shoulder. Layering perfectly with sweatshirts and hoodies, these relaxed fit tee's are proper comfortable and pair really well with cargo and baggy pants.

How do Dickies Sweatshirts Fit?

More essentials from the Dickies portfolio, the collection of sweatshirts & hoodies fit much the same as the T-Shirts. With an overall relaxed fit through the torso and shoulders, Dickies hoodies layer comfortably for an everyday wear. For an even baggier look, we'd suggest sizing up one more size.

As with the brands range of Jackets and Coats, including its iconic winter fleece collection, they often come cut to a relaxed fit, giving you room to layer up underneath without looking vacuum-packed by layers.

How do Dickies Cargos and Pants fit?

Perhaps the most iconic style from the Dickies collection, owing to their workwear roots, it's safe to say Dickies know their way around a good-fitting pair of pants. With styles like the 874 work pants, carpenter pants and cargo pants, finding the right pair of Dickies is crucial, and so is finding the pair that fit the best.

Sizing trousers is no easy feat where waist and leg fit both come into play. The waist fit and rise will be what determines whether your pants fit true to size, which with Dickies, they do.

The 'relaxed' or 'regular' signifier will come from the fit through the thigh and leg. For example, the best-selling Millerville cargos have been cut with a regular fit through the leg, fuss-free, and often pretty straight up and down. The Jackson's on the other hand, will still fit true to size on the waist but have been cut with a relaxed fit through the thigh and leg, giving a bit more material for a looser fit and a baggier aesthetic.

874 Pants: Dickies most iconic style.

Probably the most iconic fit in the Dickies portfolio, the 874's have been crafted for a smart and professional look, as well as being comfortable and hardwearing enough to stand up to daily wear and tear. Since their original release, they've been adopted by skaters in the 80's and 90's, owing to their baggy look and ability to withstand a battering at the skatepark.

Cut through the leg with a relaxed, straight fit and sitting comfortably at the waist, with belt loops for a smarter look. The style tends to run small, so we always suggest sizing up on the waist.
