Exploring Boss Footwear | EQVVS

Founded 100 years ago, it’s safe to say that the company Hugo Boss has a rich history in the fashion sphere. More recently though, the company split into two sister brands, HUGO and, you guessed it… BOSS.
BOSS is the more traditional of the two brands, sticking to Hugo Boss’ roots in prime tailoring and classic menswear styles. Here at EQVVS, we stock both brands but today we’re focusing on BOSS, specifically their footwear. It can be confusing to navigate the world of footwear, and considering the financial investment buying shoes requires, we like to be clued up and we like for you guys to be as well. So we’ve made it simple.
Over the rest of this article we’re going to take you on a journey through all things BOSS footwear, and talk you through all, yes all, of the styles we stock. We’re pretty proud of our collection, and pretty confident that you’ll like what you see. You up for it? Great, let’s get on then.

BOSS Footwear in our collection...
BOSS Titanium Runn nypu Trainers:
Let’s start off simple with a staple pair of trainers with a runner silhouette, a nod to the nineties and all things sportswear meets fashion. We’ve got these in three colourways, all easy-to-style neutrals making them the perfect purchase if you’re in need of an everyday shoe. These kicks are extra light, making them great for chucking in a weekend bag for a holiday, and making for a comfortable all-day wearing experience. They have synthetic detailing, adding a layered texture to the shoe, creating a detailed overall look. The gold BOSS lettering on the side and back of the shoe adds quintessential branding, subtle yet carrying that air of quality the brand is known for.
Grab the white pair for a classically sporty look, or opt for beige for a more toned-down choice. The black pair are great if you’re after trainers you don’t want to be too precious about, and can chuck on without worries of staining in the winter. These trainers look best paired with jeans and chinos but can lend well to the right pair of cargos and shorts in the summer. It’s all in the styling. If you’re a BOSS kinda guy, grab a pair and try them out for yourself.
BOSS Aiden Tenn Trainers:
A recurring style from the brand, these BOSS Aiden Tenn Trainers make an appearance every season, and for damn good reason. Low-profile and unfussy, these trainers would tell you ‘anything’s good’ when asked what drink they want at your house. They’re chill like that, but like an ideal houseguest they shine in their easygoing glory.
This neutral pair are accented by a brown heel tab and diagonal lines, creating subtle detailing that adds to the overall impact of the shoe rather than distracting from the rest of your outfit. These trainers truly let the rest of your outfit have its moment. The embossed low-key branding on the side stripe gently nods to the brand, whilst keeping the ambiguous vibe you want from a low-profile trainer. The faux-leather upper is wipe clean, making these the most low maintenance light-coloured trainers you could get. Basically, these trainers are an easy choice. You get the point.
They also come in a dark blue colourway, with a contrasting white cupsole but same understated vibe as the neutral pair. These ones are primed to go under a jean as an even more covert option than their lighter counterparts. If you can choose between the two (we can’t), pop them in your basket and you’ll never look back.
BOSS Belwar Tenn Trainers:
Sleek, smooth and clean, the design of the Belwar Tenn Trainers by BOSS is made to please. The definition of inoffensive, the simple design makes for a footwear essential for all wardrobes. This navy pair showcase BOSS’ traditional ethos as a brand, standing for all things classic trainers.
Crafted from pure cow hide leather and paired with the chunky white sole, these kicks have a high-quality make-up and a high quality look. The gold embossed BOSS branding nods to the quality too, signalling the brand’s history of top tier footwear and apparel. They’re a Tenn out of Ten (no, I won’t apologise for the pun). The lace up fastening makes for a comfortable adjustable fit, making these trainers truly your own. They also come in a versatile all-white colourway, also featuring the branding on the top of the tongue. So, navy or white, the choice is yours. Just choose your favourite and grab them here.
BOSS Home Slippers:
Now at the end of our BOSS blog, we’ve got a pair of shoes for the end of your day too. Well, not shoes, they’re actually slippers. After a long day treading about in your trainers, it’s great to come home, slip them off and slip on a pair of cozy slippers that feel just like home…
Funnily enough, they’re called the Home Slippers. So it is quite literally, in the name.
These bad boys will keep your feet safe from the ever-dreaded cold kitchen tiles in winter and will pair perfectly with your favourite PJ’s thanks to their low-key design. They’re subtly branded on the side, meaning you can still look put together even when you’re at your most relaxed. With the faux-fur inner of these slippers, you will be relaxed. Trust me. They also couldn’t be easier to chuck on or slide off if you start to feel a bit stuffy. Coming in black, navy and beige, they’re the perfect cozy essential to have at your side for any loungewear look. If you don’t fancy them for yourself, may we just add that they make a fantastic present for that guy in your life who ‘doesn’t want anything’. These aren’t a want, they’re a need. Give your Dad the gift of comfortability and you’ll be crowned favourite child quicker than you can say BOSS. Go on, get them, you know you want to.
